Web Strategist

Salary Range: $75K – $85K

Location: Remote (ET, CT, or MT Time Zone)

Our client, Red Sage Communications, a full-service marketing and communications agency, seeks a skilled Web Strategist to join their team. The Web Strategist is the lead project manager and content creator for website development projects. They work closely with clients to plan every aspect of the website, develop content, and determine design and programming approaches through collaboration with the design and programming teams. The right person for this position is experienced in web content creation and project management and is a great relationship builder capable of establishing credibility and trust in a room full of executive leaders. As Web Strategist, you will:

  • Drive and oversee every aspect of web projects from the sales process through the project lifecycle, including tracking all project details and ensuring a team of programmers and designers work well together, and ensuring projects stay on time and on budget.
  • Manage projects against goals, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and proactively introducing strategies that address client needs.
  • Work with prospective clients to determine site scope and generate website development proposals which clearly and accurately articulate client goals and proposed Red Sage solutions and pricing.
  • Visualize and develop site architecture that meets client needs, aligns with site audiences and best practice UI/UX, and reflects analysis based on current site user analytics if available.
  • Create, compile, and edit engaging content that tells a story, supports the brand, drives engagement, and integrates UI/UX, data analysis, and modern design trends.
  • Research and monitor web industry trends to proactively share knowledge and provide input and suggestions for Red Sage clients.
  • Assist in development of new web-related products and services.
  • Identify and implement approaches that streamline the website development processes.

Qualifications:

  • A. in project management, journalism, website design, or a related field
  • 3+ years of web content creation and project management experience
  • Strong understanding of the modern website development ecosystem including best practices, content, design, UI design, navigation, SEO, and functionality across devices
  • Master-level organization skills and attention to detail
